Workforce Oklahoma Youth Program Partners!

Flow Zone, Inc. is proud to announce our newest partnership with Workforce Oklahoma Youth program. The Youth Focused Education, Training and Employment (TODAY) Program offers NO COST services designed to help 14-21 year olds get a job and/or complete their education or training.
TODAY offers qualifying youth: individualized assessment, educational and career planning, leadership development, assistance returning to classes or obtaining a GED, job readiness training, occupational skills training, academic resources, tutoring and study skills training, supportive services, work experience activities, guidance counseling, incentives for program completion, and adult mentoring.
The new partnership between Flow Zone, Inc. and Workforce Oklahoma Youth involves work experience activities.  Millennials (young adults) will be placed at Flow Zone, Inc.’s Arts & Outreach Center to run the day to day operations.  Millennials from the TODAY program will be paid by the federal government to work full time for Flow Zone Arts & Outreach Center.
This partnership came just in time for Flow Zone, Inc.’s preparation for launching the Arts & Outreach Center in July of 2012.  We are thankful for this partnership, and look forward to working with the Millennials from Workforce Oklahoma Youth (TODAY) Program.

Flow Zone Fund

Last year Flow Zone, Inc. has reached out to over 800 child and young adults. We provided free community outreach events twice per month. And this year, we need to do more.
We now have an administrative sponsor: The Tulsa Community Foundation in Tulsa, OK.

What is Tulsa Community Foundation's role? (TCF)
For 2012, we are using the Tulsa Community Foundation to handle donations for tax purposes. TCF is our official administrative sponsor, allowing Flow Zone, Inc. to work within their 501(c)3 status. TCF has set up a "Flow Zone Fund" and will hold your gift and other donations so that you can receive a tax receipt for donating to a non-profit organization.

We hope that you can help with a contribution of $50.00. To uphold the quality of our services to the community and to accommodate more families and youth, we have set the ambitious goal of raising double our annual expenses.

We endeavor to open our Arts & Outreach Center in July 2012 to provide 5 main programs: Summer Day Camps, Monthly Workshops, Emergency Food Assistance, College Preparation, and After School Tutoring.

To keep our expenses modest and ensure wide accessibility, the center must raise funds from the community it serves. The cost to rent our new found facility is $400 including utilities.
All of our programs depend on grants, and donations from individual donors. Our goal is to encourage 222 people to give $50.00 to raise a total of $11,100.00
